Ohtake has also worked on architectural projects such as the I Love Yu Bath House on the Japanese island of Naoshima, which combines architectural pastiche, sculpture, and collaged images. Ohtake has held mid-career retrospective exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo and the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, among others.
