Santiago Gasquet
Santiago Gasquet was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1978. Gasquet attended the Lola Mora National School of Fine Arts for teaching, as well as the Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts for engraving and sculpture. He also participated in artwork review workshops with renowned artists such as Ernesto Ballesteros, Marina De Caro, Carlos Huffman, and Leticia Obeid. Gasquet joined the Artists Program of the Torcuato Di Tella University in 2012 under the guidance of Mónica Giron, and was later a fellow of the Center for Artistic Research (CIA) in 2013. In addition, he is a co-director of PIEDRAS gallery. Some of his individual exhibitions include "Where am I?" at the Emilio Pettoruti Museum of Fine Arts in La Plata and "What am I doing here?" at PIEDRAS in 2018. In 2013, Gasquet exhibited his site-specific drawing "I MISS YOU" at the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires. His work has been showcased at various institutions including Centro de Creación Contemporánea Matadero in Madrid, Museo De Arte Contemporáneo de Salta in Salta, and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires.
