Shambhavi Singh's Art Style
Shambhavi Singh's art style is predominantly non-figurative, deeply rooted in the themes of the relationship between man and nature and the transient realities of agricultural life. Her work often reflects the frugal lives of farmers from India.
During her residency at STPI, Shambhavi translated these concepts into minimalist works using paper, employing new methods and icons to express the fleeting nature of existence in an era of materialistic excess. This body of work revolutionized her practice by introducing a new palette of vibrant, ecstatic colors and forms that had not previously appeared in her art.
