Biography of Salwa Zeidan
Since debuting her artwork in 1989, Salwa Zeidan has earned global recognition, with her paintings and sculptures gracing esteemed private collections spanning from the USA to India. Her distinctive abstract minimalist style reflects her unwavering pursuit of inner radiance and serenity, embodying a profound alignment between her artistry and personal philosophy.
Among her notable accolades, Salwa Zeidan secured the fourth prize at the Florence Biennale, competing against artists from 72 countries. Additionally, she has delivered public speeches at international conferences and actively contributed to over 60 exhibitions worldwide, featuring her pieces in both solo and group presentations.
Moreover, Zeidan has curated numerous exhibitions and booths at art fairs. She has also participated in and attended various Biennales in Venice and across the globe. Salwa Zeidan has held influential positions within esteemed art associations in Beirut, France, and New York, and she currently serves as a Peace and Love Ambassador for Lebanon.
Currently based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Zeidan operates her eponymous contemporary art gallery - Salwa Zeidan Gallery.
