Shannon Ebner
Shannon Ebner is an American artist born in 1971 in New Jersey. She is known for her photography, sculptures, and installations that explore the relationships between language, image, and meaning.
Ebner received her MFA in photography from Yale University in 2000 and has since exhibited her work in numerous solo and group shows in the United States and internationally. Her work is part of the collections of major institutions such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Guggenheim Museum.
In her work, Ebner often uses found objects, typography, and everyday language to create new forms of meaning.
