Simone Holliger

Simone Holliger is a contemporary artist from Switzerland, born in 1980. She is known for her interdisciplinary approach that involves various mediums such as sculpture, drawing, video, and installation. Her works often explore the relationship between space, body, and architecture, as well as themes related to identity, memory, and the human condition.

Holliger's installations often create a sense of disorientation and ambiguity by playing with the perception of space and time. Her use of materials, such as wood, plaster, and found objects, also adds a tactile quality to her work. In addition to her solo exhibitions, she has participated in several group exhibitions in Switzerland and internationally, including at the Kunsthaus Baselland and the Swiss Institute in New York.
