Samson Young

Samson Young is a Hong Kong-based artist whose practice encompasses sound, music, performance, and installation. He explores themes of identity, memory, and cultural history through a variety of media, often incorporating found objects and archival materials into his works.

Young's work often involves the manipulation and transformation of sound, which he uses to create immersive and experiential installations. He is particularly interested in the ways in which sound can convey meaning and evoke emotion, and how it can be used as a tool for communication and expression.

Young has exhibited his work at galleries and institutions around the world, including the Venice Biennale, the Guggenheim Museum, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in  Seoul, Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, and the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo.
