Stefanie Heinze
Stefanie Heinze is a Berlin-based artist known for her playful and introspective body of work that blurs the boundaries between waking and dreaming. Born in 1987, Heinze studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts, Oslo, and the Academy of Fine Arts, Leipzig. She participated in the residency program at Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in Maine in 2016.
Heinze's work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions at Petzel Gallery in New York, LC Queisser in Tbilisi, Capitain Petzel in Berlin, Mary Boone Gallery, and Pippy Houldsworth Gallery in London. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Studio Berlin at the Boros Foundation with Berghain in Berlin, Quadro at Deichtorhallen in Hamburg, Liquid Bodies at Sammlung Philara in Düsseldorf, Known Unknowns at the Saatchi Gallery in London, and Nothing Will Be As Before at Tanya Leighton Gallery in Berlin. Her works are held in various collections, including MAMCO Genève, Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, Marguerite Hoffman Collection in Dallas, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin, and The Rachofsky Collection in Dallas.
