Sadra Baniasadi

Sadra Baniasadi is an Iranian artist born in 1991 in Tehran. He graduated from the School of Art and Architecture at the University of Tehran and continued his education at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree. Baniasadi's artwork explores themes of memory, identity, and displacement through the lens of contemporary Iran. He works across a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, and installation, and his pieces often incorporate text and calligraphy.

Baniasadi has exhibited his work internationally in galleries and museums, including solo exhibitions at the Ag Galerie in Tehran (2013) and the Silk Road Gallery in Tehran (2015), as well as group exhibitions at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (2018) and the Museum of Modern Art in Moscow (2019).
