Simon Lehner

Simon Lehner is a contemporary Austrian artist born in 1996. He received his degree in painting and graphics from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in 2011.

Lehner's work explores themes related to perception, time, and the nature of reality. He creates multi-layered, abstract compositions that incorporate a variety of materials and techniques, including paint, ink, and collage.

In his paintings, Lehner often begins with a geometric structure as a foundation, which he then overlays with more organic and expressive elements. He is known for his use of vibrant colors, bold brushstrokes, and dynamic forms.

Lehner has exhibited his work in solo and group shows throughout Europe, including in Austria, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. In 2013, he was awarded the Strabag Art Award, which recognizes emerging artists in Austria.
