Larry Amponsah

Larry Amponsah is a Ghanaian-American artist known for his mixed media works that explore themes of identity, culture, and history. Born in 1989 in Accra, Ghana, Amponsah currently lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland.

Amponsah's work often incorporates a variety of materials, including paint, fabric, paper, and found objects. His paintings and drawings frequently feature abstracted forms and patterns, which he uses to create complex and layered compositions. Amponsah's work also references his own experiences as a Ghanaian-American and his interest in African history and culture.
