Laura Põld was born in 1984 in Tallinn, Estonia. Her educational journey began at the Estonian Academy of Arts, where she pursued a Bachelor's degree in the Department of Ceramics. During her time at the academy, she honed her skills in ceramics, gaining a deep understanding of the medium's techniques and its potential for artistic exploration.
She also received a Master's degree from the Department of Painting at the University of Tartu. From 2018 to 2021, Laura Põld pursued her studies at the Department of Sculptural Conceptions / Ceramics at the University of Art and Design Linz.
