William S. Burroughs
William S. Burroughs was an American writer and artist known for his contributions to the Beat Generation and his influential works in literature, including the novel "Naked Lunch". He was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1914 and attended Harvard University before moving to New York City, where he became involved in the Beat movement and befriended fellow writers such as Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac.
