Tyler Dobson

Tyler Dobson is an American artist who was born in 1988 and is based in New York City. He received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2013.

Dobson's artwork often explores the intersection of painting and sculpture, as well as the boundaries between abstraction and representation. He works primarily in mixed media, incorporating materials like plaster, fabric, and found objects into his paintings.
