Richard Aldrich

Richard Aldrich is a Brooklyn-based painter whose work is as enigmatic as it is captivating. Born in Hampton, Virginia in 1975, Aldrich has made a name for himself in the art world, particularly with his inclusion in the prestigious 2010 Whitney Biennial.

Aldrich's journey into the realm of art began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio State University in 1998. His canvases, mostly abstract and seemingly casual, harbor a deeper literary sensibility that beckons viewers to delve beyond the surface.
