Nile Koetting
Nile Koetting is a multidisciplinary artist who was born in Japan in 1989 and currently lives and works in Berlin and Tokyo. Koetting's work spans a variety of mediums including installation, light, performance, scenography, sound, and composition.
In terms of education, Koetting attended Tama Art University in Tokyo where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Fine Art department. He also participated in an exchange program at Aalto University in Helsinki, where he studied Media and Sound Art. Koetting later attended the Berlin Program For Artist (BPA) in 2016.
Koetting has had several solo exhibitions and performances, including "Remain Calm - Air氣-," which was held at Tai Kwun Contemporary's night room in Hong Kong in 2021, and "Remain Calm I هدوء غامر," which was presented at the Sharjah Art Foundation in Sharjah, UAE in the same year.
