Milad Mousavi

Milad Mousavi is an Iranian artist who was born in 1987 in Tehran, Iran. He graduated from Tehran University of Art with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, and later received a Master's degree in Animation and New Media from the same institution.

Mousavi's work often explores the intersection of art, politics, and culture, and he is known for his use of a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, video, and installation. He frequently incorporates text and found objects into his work, and his pieces often challenge social norms and power structures.

Mousavi has exhibited his work in galleries and museums in Iran and internationally, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran, the Dubai Art Fair, and the Berlin Art Week. He has also participated in artist residencies in several countries, including the United States, France, and China.

In addition to his work as an artist, Mousavi is a co-founder of Kooshk Residency, an artist-run initiative in Tehran that provides space and resources for emerging artists. He has also served as a mentor and advisor to many younger artists in Iran, and is widely regarded as an important figure in the country's contemporary art scene.
