Matteo Nasini
Matteo Nasini, born in Rome in 1976, received a Double Bass degree from Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia, Rome, in 2002.
Nasini's investigation begins with an analysis of sound and its surface, leading him to explore the physical forms it can take. His artistic practice involves creating sound installations, performances, sculptures, and textile works.
Nasini has exhibited his work at several venues, including Clima, Marsèlleria, Fluxia, and Fonderia Artistica Battaglia in Milan, as well as Maxxi, Macro, Nomas Foundation, La Galleria Nazionale, Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, and Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. He has also shown his work at Villa Croce in Genoa, Villa Romana in Florence, Museo delle Palme in Palermo, Palazzo Fortuny in Venice, and Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in Pesaro.
