Matt Bryans

Biography of Matt Bryans
Matt Bryans was born in Croydon, England, in 1977. In 1996, he received a BA in Fine Art from Winchester School of Art, and in 1999, he obtained an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea School of Art in London.
Matt Bryans' works have been exhibited worldwide. His recent solo shows have been held at Sølvberget Gallery in Stavanger (2023), Kate MacGarry in London (2021), Veveriet in Ålgård (2020), and many more.
Moreover, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including "TWENTY" at Kate MacGarry in London (2022), "Press Eject and Give Me the Tape" at GMVZ Amsterdam (The Netherlands), at Studio17 in Stavanger (Norway), at Velferden in Sokndal (Norway), at Studio K in Kvernaland (Norway) (2021), among others.
Bryans' artwork has found a place in significant public art collections, with notable acquisitions by institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and Tate Modern, London.
Currently, the artist lives and works in Norway.
