J.G. Arvidsson was born in 1989 in Ethiopia. From 2017 to 2020, he studied at The Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Denmark), where he earned a BFA. He further pursued his education and obtained an MFA from The Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts's School of Painting in 2023.

Arvidsson's artwork has been showcased in various group and solo exhibitions, including Bachelor Degree Show, Royal College of Art, Copenhagen, Denmark (2020), If Given My Body, Arrange the Ants, Bo Bjerggaard Gallery, Copenhagen, Denmark (2021), Zeitgeist, Galleri Nicolai Wallner, Copenhagen, Denmark (2022), Solo Exhibition, The Package, Copenhagen, Denmark (2018), Yours to keep, Salon 75, Copenhagen, Denmark (2019).
