Fang Di
Fang Di is a contemporary artist born in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China in 1987. He is known for his thought-provoking artworks that address social and political issues in China.
In 2008, Fang Di studied as an exchange student of Fine Arts at the College of Arts, California State University. Afterward, in 2010, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. He went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art Program in 2013.
Fang Di's artwork explores topics such as identity, urbanization, and censorship in China. His paintings often feature realistic portraits and landscapes, juxtaposed with abstract and surreal elements. His artwork has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, the Hong Kong Arts Centre, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
Fang Di currently lives and works in Shenzhen, where he continues to produce thought-provoking artwork that challenges and inspires audiences.
