Biography of Claudio Moser
Claudio Moser was born in 1959 in Aarau, Switzerland. He pursued film studies at the École Supérieure d’Art Visuel in Geneva under the guidance of François Albera and Francis Reusser.
In 1987, he was awarded a fellowship at the Swiss Institute in Rome. Residing in Basel from 1988 to 2004, he engaged in various artist residencies worldwide.
Relocating from Basel to Noisy-le-Grand in the suburbs of Paris in 2004, he continued his artistic journey. In 2006–2007, he undertook a studio fellowship in Berlin from the Aargauer Kuratorium. In 2011, he spent time in Tel Aviv.
Claudio Moser's solo exhibitions have been held at various venues worldwide, including Centre de la Photographie (Geneva), Galerie Anke Schmidt (Köln), Kunstmuseum Solothurn, Villa Garbald (Castasegna), Nicolas Krupp (Basel), and many more.
Currently, the artist lives and works in Geneva, Switzerland.
