Bendix Harms, a contemporary artist, was born in Münster in 1967 and currently resides and creates in Hamburg, Germany.
He pursued his artistic education at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg, completing his MFA from 1991 to 1997. Harms' artistic endeavors have garnered attention through exhibitions in prominent events such as the Prague Biennial in 2005 and the inaugural Tirana Biennale in 2001.
Additionally, his works have been featured in various exhibitions held at esteemed institutions, including the Hall Art Foundation in Redding, the Hudson Valley Center of Contemporary Art in Peekskill, the Nationalmuseum in Berlin, and the National Academy Museum & School in New York.
