Biography of Azzah Sultan

Azzah Sultan, born in 1996 in Abu Dhabi, embarked on a nomadic childhood, traversing various countries including Malaysia, Finland, Bahrain, and Ireland due to her father's diplomatic career. At the age of 16, she relocated to New York to pursue her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Parsons School of Design. Her upbringing amidst diverse cultures laid the foundation for her artistic exploration of identity, religion, and nationality.

She has exhibited her work at prestigious venues such as The New School, Parsons Paris Gallery, The Bushwick Collective, and Sotheby's Institute of Art.

With a Master of Fine Arts degree from Washington State University, she continues to push artistic boundaries, currently undertaking a residency at The Anderson Center in Red Wing, Minnesota, while actively engaging in curatorial pursuits.
