Riskie Brent

Born in 1968 in Compton, California, Riskie Brent is a highly dedicated artist who caught the attention of Suge Knight, CEO of Death Row Records, in 1996. Knight introduced Riskie to Tupac Shakur, and the artist's first project for Death Row was designing the insert for Tupac's All Eyez On Me album. Impressed by the quality of Riskie's work, he was commissioned again to design the album cover for Tupac's Makaveli: The 7 Day Theory, one of the most influential albums in hip-hop history. Tupac shared his vision for the cover with Riskie, who created one of the most talked-about album covers in hip-hop. Tupac was thrilled with the finished product, but unfortunately, he passed away before the album was released. Other members of Death Row quickly embraced Riskie, and he went on to design several album covers and inserts for the label, including Death Row's Greatest Hits and Death Row's Christmas Album, as well as album covers for Snoop Doggy Dogg, Daz Dillinger, and Nate Dogg.

Riskie is not just limited to album covers and airbrushing, as he is also skilled in painting canvases, murals, customizing clothing, shoes, skatedecks, and more.

In 2019, Riskie participated in the exhibition "Just a Small Introduction to the G-Funk Era" at Harlesden High Street in London.
