Marina Faust
Marina Faust is an artist born in 1950 in Vienna and currently living and working in Vienna and Paris. Her artistic practice began in documentary photography but has since expanded to include filmmaking, sculpture, and experimental photography. Faust has collaborated with fashion designer Martin Margiela for almost 20 years and has worked in interior photography. She is also a regular contributor to the French art magazine FROG.
Faust's recent and upcoming exhibitions include the Otto Breicha Award for Artistic Photography at the Museum der Moderne/Rupertinum in Salzburg, "A Table for Fifty" at Galerie PCP in Paris, "In Rare Cases, Local Hero with Pompadour" at Xippas Gallery in Geneva, and "Fashion Moments: Women Photographers in Focus" at the Landesgalerie Linz in Austria. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Le Consortium in Dijon, and the Salzburger Kunstverein in Austria.
Marina Faust's work was also included in several exhibitions at Gianni Manhattan, including "Autonomous Gestures" at FIAC 2021, "Drawings" at Friend Of A Friend, and "Once On Tv" at miart 2018.
