Biography of Katja Novitskova
Katja Novitskova was born in 1984 and currently resides in Amsterdam and Berlin. She pursued her artistic education at prestigious institutions, including the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam from 2013 to 2014, the Sandberg Institute's Graphic Design Department from 2008 to 2010, and the University of Lübeck's ISNM in 2006-2007. Before that, she studied in the Media Art Department at the Tartu Art College and earned a Bachelor's degree in Semiotics and Culture Studies at the University of Tartu.
Katja Novitskova's remarkable career has been marked by several solo exhibitions. In 2023, she presented "Random Forest" at the Temnikova & Kasela Gallery in Estonia. Her artistic journey also included showcasing "Model Earth" at the Fries Museum in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, and "Reaching for the Stars" at Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence, Italy.
