Julian Rosefeldt
Julian Rosefeldt is a German contemporary artist known for his video installations and multi-channel films that explore themes of identity, language, and cultural stereotypes. He studied architecture and later received his MFA in film and video from the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.
His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin. Rosefeldt's art often features actors performing scripts that he has written, creating surreal and thought-provoking pieces that challenge viewers' perceptions of reality. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Audi Art Award for New Positions in 2009.
