Biography of Jasmin Werner

Jasmin Werner was born in 1987 in Troisdorf, Germany. She embarked on her studies in photography at HfG Karlsruhe and later completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 2013.

Her desire for artistic growth led her to HfbK Städelschule in Frankfurt, where she studied from 2012 to 2016. This intensive period of artistic development laid the foundation for her distinctive creative vision.

In 2017, she held a fellowship at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul. In 2022, she was honored with the Callie's Studio residency in Berlin and a workshop residency at KKV in Malmö.

Jasmin Werner's artworks have found a home in numerous galleries and institutions around the world. Her exhibitions have been hosted at venues such as Kunstverein Braunschweig, Bärenzwinger in Berlin, Kunstverein Ingolstadt, Folkwang Museum in Essen, Damien & The Love Guru in Brussels, and DuMont Kunsthalle in Cologne, among others.
