Biography of Fares Thabet
Fares Thabet was born in 1982 in Hammamet, Tunisia. Having graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the Complutense University of Art in Madrid in 2014, Thabet's artistic journey has been shaped by his diverse educational experiences. Additionally, he holds a certificate of higher education from the Francisco Alcańtara School of Ceramics.
Thabet's work has been showcased in group exhibitions in both Spain and Tunisia, including notable shows such as "Climbing Through the Tide" at B7L9 Art Station in Tunis and "Summer Show" at Selma Feriani Gallery, also in Tunis.
His artistic contributions have been recognized and celebrated, with his work finding a home in esteemed collections such as The Museum of African Contemporary Art, Al Maaden (MACAAL) in Marrakech, Morocco, as well as private collections across Spain, Belgium, Germany, the USA, and Tunisia.
Currently, Fares Thabet lives and works in Tunis.
