Eva Rothschild's Art Style

Rothschild's artistic practice primarily focuses on sculpture, utilizing a variety of materials including aluminum, jesmonite, leather, fabric, and perspex. She maintains a studio practice centered on materials while also engaging in significant public and outdoor commissions. Her work draws inspiration from art movements of the 1960s and 1970s, such as Minimalism, and incorporates contemporary aesthetics related to protest and spirituality.

She also explores color, gradation, and shape through printmaking. Fascinated by the illusionistic aspects of sculpture, Rothschild's screenprints are dynamic and directional, suggesting movement beyond their two-dimensional surfaces.
