Darryl "Joe Cool" Daniel
Darryl Daniel, known in the art world as "Joe Cool," is a Long Beach, CA native who has made a name for himself with his unique and iconic illustrations. His work has graced the covers of countless records sold worldwide, most notably his cousin Snoop Dogg's "DoggyStyle." Joe Cool's artwork has become a staple in hip-hop's visual history and serves as a testament to his incredible talent.
Unlike many artists today, Joe Cool's artwork is created without the use of commonplace computer graphics. Instead, his illustrations harken back to a time when hand-drawn designs were the norm.
In addition to his work in the art world, Joe Cool has partnered with many global brands and retailers to create memorable designs. His collaborations include ADIDAS, 7-11, and Supreme Clothing, among others.
When he's not drawing, Joe Cool travels the world touring with Snoop Dogg as "The Nasty Dogg." He has performed on stage in over 30 countries and 48 states, as well as numerous broadcast television shows and events. In addition to his work in entertainment, he is also involved in comedic acting and motivational speaking, often working with non-profit organizations that focus on recovery and art therapy.
