Antoine Donzeaud
Antoine Donzeaud is a French artist who was born in 1985 in Vitry-sur-Seine and currently lives and works in Paris. He obtained his degree from Villa Arson in 2010. Donzeaud's artistic practice explores the social structures and narrative fictions of contemporary society with a focus on architecture and space, identity, and community. He employs various mediums such as deconstructed frames, screen printing on top of advertisements, industrial windows, and videos to create his works.
Donzeaud's work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in France and internationally, including at prestigious institutions such as Centre Pompidou, Fondation Vuitton, and Fondation Ricard in Paris, as well as at Rupert in Vilnius, Ashes/Ashes in New York, and Chicago Manual Style in Chicago. Some of his recent solo exhibitions include "A l'endroit et à l'envers du temps" at Georg Kargl Fine Arts in Vienna, "Mitch, Ike et Irene" at Exo Exo in Paris, and "Une décision purement pratique" at Musée d'Art du Périgord. Donzeaud's work explores themes of time, memory, and the transformation of urban environments.
