Biography of Megan Plunkett
Megan Plunkett, born in 1985 in Pasadena, California, attended Pratt Institute in New York from 2002 to 2008, where she earned a BFA. Later, she went on to pursue an MFA at the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College in New York.
Her first solo show, "High Noon," took place at the Golden Age Art Gallery in Chicago. Since then, Plunkett has exhibited her work in solo exhibitions at a range of prominent venues across the globe. These include F Gallery in Houston, Sweetwater in Berlin, Emalin in London, and The Gallery at El Centro in Los Angeles. Her exhibitions have also appeared at various other distinguished locations, reflecting the international recognition of her artistic practice.
Additionally, Plunkett's works have been featured in group exhibitions, including "Cruella De-vil" at Sultana in Arles (2024), "Hypnopomp" at Canepa Selling in Los Angeles (2024), "Portals" at STARS in Los Angeles (2023), "DRIVE LANGUAGE CRAZY" at The Wig in Berlin (2022), and many more.
