Mark Citret

Mark Citret is an American fine art photographer known for his black and white landscape and architectural photography, as well as his large format prints. Citret was born in 1949 in Buffalo, New York, and he grew up in San Francisco, where he currently lives and works. He first became interested in photography while studying at San Francisco State University, and he later received his MFA from the University of Colorado. Citret's photographs often have a strong sense of stillness and contemplation, and they are characterized by their strong use of light and shadow.
