Lulama ‘Wolf’ Mlambo
Lulama "Wolf" Mlambo is a South African artist and musician, born in Durban in 1993. She is known for her multidisciplinary approach to art, incorporating elements of sculpture, installation, and performance to explore themes of identity, gender, and social justice.
Mlambo received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Durban University of Technology in 2015 and has since exhibited her work in various group and solo shows in South Africa, as well as internationally.
Her art often incorporates found materials such as wood, metal, and discarded objects, which she transforms into thought-provoking installations that challenge conventional ideas of beauty and value. She also creates striking, larger-than-life sculptures of human and animal forms, which she imbues with a powerful sense of emotion and spirituality.
