Lauren Luloff is an American contemporary artist born in 1980. She is primarily known for her large-scale paintings, which often incorporate a range of materials including dye, bleach, ink, and found textiles. Luloff's work is characterized by its layered, abstract compositions and its use of rich, expressive colors.
Luloff's artwork has been exhibited widely in the United States and internationally, including at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico. She has also participated in several artist residencies, including at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, Nebraska, and the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire. In addition to her work as an artist, Luloff is also a professor of painting and drawing at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
