John Miller was born in 1954 in Cleveland, US. Currently, the artist lives and continues to work In New York, US.

In 1977, he received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. He continued his education and completed the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program in New York in 1978. Subsequently, in 1979, he earned an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia.

Miller's artistic journey has been punctuated by a series of remarkable solo exhibitions, each serving as a testament to his creative depth and thought-provoking approach.
