Iwo Panasiewicz
Iwo Panasiewicz is a contemporary artist from Krakow, Poland, born in 1997, where he currently lives and works. He specializes in creating intricate and intimate drawings using pencil and colored pencil on small-format paper. He tries to translate his inner experiences and emotions into his works, building metaphorical scenes and micro-narratives using signs and symbols. His works are open to interpretation, and he allows the viewer to decode the final meaning for themselves.
Panasiewicz studied Graphic Design and Multimedia at the Pedagogical University of National Education Commission in Cracow, Poland. Later, he attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, and the Design Faculty, Animation, and Computer Games studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland.
In 2021, he had a solo exhibition titled "I woke up at this gray hour, woke my heart by a rumble" at Serce Człowieka in Warsaw, Poland, with Wiktoria Walendzik. In 2022, he had another solo exhibition titled "Constant Stufiness" at Piktogram in Warsaw, Poland.
