Biography of Isabelle Le Minh
Isabelle Le Minh was born in Bad Salzuflen-Schötmar (Germany) in 1965. Initially studying Mathematics, she graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen in France. With an engineering degree in material science, she moved to Berlin to work as a patent examiner.
Eventually, she left her career to fully dedicate herself to photography. In 1996, she received a Master of Fine Arts with honors from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d’Arles.
Additionally, Isabelle Le Minh serves as a curator and photography instructor at the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, France.
In 2016, Isabelle Le Minh was honored with the Prix Révélation Livre d'Artiste by the ADAGP, recognizing her talent.
Notably, the artist has exhibited her works both nationally and internationally. Her recent solo exhibitions include "Postlude" at Galerie Christophe Gaillard in Paris (2023), "Synchronité (Engram)" at Musée des Beaux-Arts in Dijon (2023), "Not the End" at CRP /Centre régional de la photographie Hauts-de-France in Douchy-les-Mines (2019), "After Photography" at FRAC Normandie Rouen (2017), and many more.
Isabelle Le Minh's works have been featured in numerous group exhibitions held at various galleries and museums worldwide, including Centre Pompidou in Paris, Kehrer Galerie in Berlin, Materia Gallery in Rome, Riga Art Space in Riga, Dorfman Projects in New York, among other esteemed venues.
Currently, the artist resides and works in Paris, France.
