Florian Meisenberg

Biography of Florian Meisenberg
Florian Meisenberg was born in Berlin, Germany, in 1980. In 2002, he received a Diploma in Media Design. In 2009, the artist completed his studies at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture. Additionally, from 2004 to 2010, Meisnberg studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
His works have been exhibited widely. His recent solo exhibitions include "What Does the Smoke Know of the Fire?" at Kate MacGarry in London (2023), "Exclusiv" at Provinz in Bochum (2023), "Confessions of a Mask" at E. A. Shared Space in Tbilisi (2022), "A Story Is Always Told into Two Ears" at Simone Subal Gallery in New York (2021), "Onehundredfourtythousandonehundredsixty Hours Later" at Kunstpaterre in Munich (2020), and many more.
Additionally, Florian Meisenberg has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including "Maskenfreiheit" at Margot Samen in New York (2023), "Diving into Art" at Situation Kunst in Bochum (2023), "Colour Image Space: Bart van der Leck in Dialogue" at Insel Hombroich Kulturraum in Neuss (2023), "TWENTY" at Kate MacGarry in London (2022), among others.
Currently, Meisenberg lives in New York, where he continues to create.
