Christodoulos Panayiotou
Christodoulos Panayiotou, born in 1978 in Limassol, Cyprus, is a contemporary artist who currently lives and works in both Limassol and Paris. He has held solo exhibitions of his work in various locations, including the Cyprus Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale, Camden Arts Centre in London, Musée d’Orsay in Paris, Casa Luis Barragán in Mexico City, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Kunsthalle Zürich, Casino Luxembourg, CCA Kitakyushu, Museum of Contemporary Art in St. Louis, Museum of Contemporary Art in Leipzig, Centre d’Art Contemporain de Brétigny, and Point Center of Contemporary Art in Nicosia.
In 2019, Panayiotou collaborated on the conception of the Emma Kunz – Visionary Drawings exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery. Additionally, his work has been featured in several group exhibitions, including the 8th Melle Biennale, the 14th Lyon Biennial, the 13th Sharjah Biennial, dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel, the 8th Berlin Biennale, the 7th Liverpool Biennial, Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, Centre Pompidou in Paris, Museion in Bolzano, Migros Museum in Zürich, CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts in San Francisco, Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, Witte de With in Rotterdam, Bonniers Konsthall in Stockholm, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Ashkal Alwan Center for Contemporary Arts in Beirut, and Artist Space in New York, among others.
