Cecilia Edefalk
Cecilia Edefalk is a Swedish artist born in 1954 in Norrköping, Sweden. She is known for her sculptures, paintings, and installations that explore the intersections between art, nature, and spirituality. Edefalk studied at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, and has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world.
Her work has been featured in exhibitions at institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Venice Biennale, and the Moderna Museet in Stockholm. Edefalk has also been the recipient of several awards, including the Prince Eugen Medal in 2002 and the Carnegie Art Award in 2006. She currently lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.
