Arleene Correa Valencia, a talented artist, was born in 1993 in Michoacán, Mexico, and now calls Napa, California, her home.
She earned her BFA and MFA from California College of the Arts. Originally from Arteaga, Michoacán, Mexico, she is one of four children and a beneficiary of DACA (Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals), currently on a path toward naturalized citizenship in the United States.
In 2023, Arleene Correa Valencia was named an Eureka Fellow by the Fleishhacker Foundation, an honor that underscores her commitment to her craft and her potential to make a lasting impact in the world of art.

Her work was featured in the triennial event, Bay Area Now 9 (BAN9), at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco in October 2023.
