Antonio Vega Macotela

Antonio Vega Macotela is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mexico City and Amsterdam. His practice explores the relationship between art, labor, and economics. Vega Macotela's work is often research-based and engages with different communities and social systems. In his art, he often highlights the invisible labor that takes place in our society, such as the work of prison inmates, street vendors, and miners.

Vega Macotela's work has been exhibited internationally, and he has received numerous awards and grants for his practice.
