Wilhelm Sasnal

Wilhelm Sasnal is a Polish contemporary artist known for his paintings, drawings, and films. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and initially gained recognition for his expressionistic paintings that referenced both Polish history and pop culture.

Sasnal's work often explores contemporary politics, social issues, and the human condition, with a particular focus on the ambiguities and complexities of modern life.

Sasnal's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Tate Modern in London, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
