Vikenti Komitski
Born in 1983 in Sofia, Vikenti Komitski currently resides and works in Berlin. He received a degree in Sculpture from the National Academy of Art in Sofia and focuses on objects, installations, and video in his art.
Komitski has held numerous solo exhibitions, including "New Poor" at ICA in Sofia in 2013, "Subjective Geography" at Sariev Contemporary in Plovdiv in 2011, "1:200" at 0gms gallery in Sofia in 2010, "No Image Available" at The Fridge in Sofia in 2010, and "#1" at Vaska Emanuilova Gallery in Sofia in 2009.
He has also participated in various group exhibitions, such as "Places of Transition" curated by Gülsen Bal and Walter Seidl at freiraum quartier 21 in Vienna in 2014, "Sofia Contemporary festival" in 2012, "Go West!" at Muzeon Art Park in Moscow as part of the Moscow Young Art Biennale in 2012, "Is It Free?" at NutureArt Gallery in New York in 2012, "Together Again" at Radiator Gallery in New York in 2012, "Isolation" at Senatsreservenspeicher in Berlin in 2012, and many others.
