Rudy Cremonini
Cremonini's paintings exist at the exciting crossroads of figuration and abstraction, created intuitively directly on the canvas, devoid of preliminary sketches. He selects objects, figures, or scenes from his immediate surroundings as motifs, imbuing them with depth and a mystical aura through his artistic language and poetics. His work is characterized by abstracted color areas, predominantly in soft or dark tones, distinguished by their separation either through color alone or via motif-defining, sketch-like brushstrokes.
