Nabil Nahas

Nabil Nahas is a contemporary artist from Lebanon known for his abstract paintings that explore the intersections of art, architecture, and design. Nahas was born in Beirut in 1949 and later moved to the United States to pursue his education. He received a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and an MFA from the Yale School of Art in New Haven, Connecticut. Nahas' paintings are characterized by their vibrant colors, bold geometric shapes, and intricate patterns. He often draws inspiration from traditional Middle Eastern architecture and design, incorporating elements such as arches, domes, and mosaics into his work. At the same time, he also draws upon contemporary design and architectural forms, creating paintings that are both timeless and distinctly modern.
