Moe Satt is an internationally recognized artist from Myanmar, known for his multidisciplinary practice that includes performance, photography, and video. Through his work, he explores themes of identity, politics, and activism, engaging with local communities and addressing social issues, such as the role of religion and that of the individual in society.

 In 2008, he established and curated Beyond Pressure, a renowned international festival dedicated to performance art in Myanmar. 

 Moe Satt, a finalist for the Hugo Boss Asia Art Award 2015, resides and creates in Yangon, Myanmar.

Moe Satt's impactful artistry has garnered international recognition and opportunities for collaboration. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, residencies, and art programs worldwide. Through these experiences, Moe Satt has engaged with diverse cultural contexts, expanding his artistic practice and contributing to cross-cultural dialogue. Moe Satt has been invited to prestigious artist-in-residence programs such as ACC in New York (2017), IASPIS in Sweden (2016), and International Residence at Recollets in Paris (2015). His works have been exhibited internationally, including at the CAFAM Biennale in Beijing (2013) and the Busan Biennale (2012).
